Reducing alarm dispatches is the number one goal of the alarm industry! This site contains the entire report on the "MODEL STATES" project, a cooperative effort between IACP and the alarm industry. Over fifty cities in four states participated in this two and a half year study. The report contains data, sample ordinances and recommendations on what works and what doesn't, along with contact information for every law enforcement agency that participated.
